“The Big Man (William "Chip" Brown) was actually a physician in training when he began selling his cakes to colleagues at the hospital, more for fun than as an enterprise. A 6 foot 5 inch linebacker-looking dude, who does this delicate baking thing that will leave you scratching your head & asking "Did the Big Fella really make this?!". And let me tell you, he does it delicately. Baking eased the pressures felt during all those rigorous hours of studying all that anatomy, & biochemistry. And because there is an odd correlation between chemistry in a lab and the chemistry of the perfect cake (makes you think, huh?), it was a natural fit.”
