“Pizza Of Venice is as handmade of a pizza as you’ll find. We do thin crust personal pizzas using house-made meats, and farmer’s market sourced produce. Although we hang our hats in Altadena California, POV started its journey in Venice Beach, just about as far from Altadena you can be while still being in Los Angeles County. In 2012, we began making pizzas for a wine bar in Santa Monica and grilling pies out of an art studio in Venice. Even then, our toppings were unique and people took notice. We started selling at local farmer’s markets, and found an affordable commercial kitchen there too. It was not our intention to start a restaurant but Altadena had other ideas. On June 15th 2013, after making invaluable connections with farmers who would eventually supply our restaurant, and with tons of encouragement from local customers, we opened Pizza Of Venice!“
