Black Owned Food LA is a directory of Black-owned food businesses in the Los Angeles area. We collect only what we need to run it.
What we collect
Listing and event submissions (business details, your name and email so we can follow up), feature inquiries, newsletter email addresses, and standard analytics about how pages are used.
How we use it
To review and publish listings and events, to reply to inquiries, and — if you opt in — to send occasional emails about new spots and events. We never sell your information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit. It sets cookies in your browser; you can block them without losing access to the site.
Your choices
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to correct or remove your listing or your email address at any time by writing to us on the contact page.
Business information on listings
Listing pages show publicly available business information: name, food type, neighborhood, address, phone, website and Instagram. If you own a business and want the listing changed or taken down, contact us and we'll handle it.
